An opening for Alex Zarza’s new track in the spirit of cult anime: the hero fights evil, transforms into a warrior and defeats the enemy.

Client: Alex Zarza is a Spanish artist who blends music, dance and fashion into a universe of his own.

• Developed the concept together with the artist, inspired by cult anime openings and transformation scenes.
• Recreated a real location: Odaiba beach in Tokyo on a festival fireworks night, with the Rainbow Bridge and the city skyline in frame.
• Built an AI avatar of the artist that fully reproduces his facial features.
• Transferred real clothing with a complex cut for the look before the transformation.
• Designed the battle costume: a reinterpretation of the Japanese boys’ school uniform (button layout, stand-up collar) and of boxing hand wraps decorated with traditional Japanese patterns.
• Transferred a costume of 10+ pieces (belt, vest, trousers, tabi boots, gloves, cape, ring, pendant) and kept it consistent throughout the video.
• Worked closely with the artist at every stage.
